Scotch Whisky Experience launches new ‘Tasting Tales’ package

The Scotch Whisky Experience on Edinburgh’s Royal Mile launches Tasting Tales, an experience showcasing both Scotland’s wonderful larder of local, seasonal and artisan food matched with single malt whiskies. Visitors will sample the whisky and food matches whilst enjoying a tale or two based around the history, characters and real stories that make the world of Scotch whisky such a rich cultural experience.
Situated within the new ‘Stillhouse Suite’, up to 10 guests will be tutored through four whiskies each paired with a different canapé which will delight the palate in the perfect match. Guests will have the opportunity to smell new aromas, awaken their taste buds and take home an unforgettable hour with a passion to learn more.
Lenka Whyles, Head of Visitor Experience and Keeper of The Quaich at The Scotch Whisky Experience said: “Our team have many years of experience pairing whisky with food. It’s wonderful to now be able to share our knowledge further and pass that on to visitors where different sources of flavour will be showcased from the whisky making process with each sip and bite, making it a lovely interactive experience”.
