National Museums Scotland offers a stunning collection of venues suitable for a wide range of events. From intimate dinners for 12 to spectacular wedding receptions and awards dinners for up to 950, each museum provides an unforgettable setting for your event.
The National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh’s historic Old Town combines grand Victorian architecture with award winning contemporary spaces. At the Museum’s heart, the magnificent Grand Gallery provides an unrivalled backdrop for wedding receptions and dinners, accommodating up to 1000 formal dining guests or drinks receptions of up to 1500.
Adjacent spaces Hawthornden Court and the Early People Gallery offer a stunningly contemporary option to suit dinners of up to 120 guests or large receptions for up to 700 guests.
A more intimate setting, the Boardroom, Bute Room and private roof terrace boast some of the city’s best views of Edinburgh Castle and the Old Town. Perfect for private dining and weddings, groups of between 10 to 50 guests can be hosted throughout the day and into the evening.
The Museum also offers conference and meeting spaces, with a 200 seat Auditorium and adjoining break out and exhibition areas.
Finally, the National Museum of Flight, a few miles east of Edinburgh, is home to The Concorde Experience where up to 650 guests can enjoy boarding the iconic aircraft, dining under the wings and experiencing the luxurious lifestyle of the rich and famous!
