Getting Around Edinburgh
We’ve compiled a short guide to getting around Edinburgh with some useful transport options to help when planning your event, so you and your guests are well connected and in the know.
Air: After jetting into Edinburgh Airport, you can jump in a taxi (£18-20 approx); glide with the Tram (£6 single /£8.50 return); or hop on an AirLink bus (£4.50 single, £7.50 return). Whichever way you choose, you’ll be in Edinburgh city centre in around 30-40mins.
Rail: Both Haymarket and Waverley stations are conveniently located in the city centre – handy for guests visiting from throughout Scotland and the rest of the UK.
The compact nature of Edinburgh’s old and new towns make the city centre easily walkable. Perfect for exploring or guests dashing between your venue and onward travel connections. The city also benefits from an extensive and affordable bus network which reaches all corners of the capital and neighbouring regions.
