The Signet Library‘s Colonnades offer historic 19th century Georgian surroundings in which to enjoy Edinburgh’s finest afternoon tea, a celebratory cocktail, or a glass of fizz ‘just because’.
The venue is the city’s best kept secret, located in the heart of Edinburgh’s Old Town. Once described by King George IV as “the finest drawing room in Europe”, this unique venue is steeped in history and is still owned by the The Society of Writers to Her Majesty’s Signet (known as the WS Society). As well as a working law library supporting the work of Society, The Signet Library is the ultimate events experience, offering intimate dining experiences, corporate functions or private events.
