Something Auld, something new and six free rooms for you at Dundas Castle
In honour of the 600th anniversary of its historic Auld Keep, timeless wedding venue, Dundas Castle, is inviting couples to share the love, with a gift of six free luxurious rooms for all weddings until March 2017.
With its 17 sumptuous bedrooms, secluded gardens and the Keep itself, five star Dundas Castle is an idyllic and flexible wedding venue ideal for a range of ceremonies and celebrations run by a team of expertly qualified wedding planners. The Auld Keep, which can house a wedding for up to 110 in the magnificent Great Hall with its vaulted ceiling, or can host small weddings on its roof with stunning views, was built in the 15th century and is one of the most romantic and unique places to get married in Scotland.
Sir Jack Stewart-Clark, owner of Dundas Castle comments: “My wife and I are so happy to welcome couples to share our home for the most wonderful experience of their lives. Dundas breaths romance and history. As our historic Auld Keep celebrates its 600th birthday, we have created this special gift as a way of helping our guests to enjoy this special year with their family and friends.”
Dundas Castle is a stunning location for some of the most romantic weddings in Scotland and is still the home of the Stewart-Clark family. As well as the Auld Keep, the elegant main house provides a home from home, with chandeliers, roaring fires, comfortable sofas and a stunning staircase, offering flexibility and quality throughout. The 17 bedrooms were individually styled by owner Lady Lydia and represent the ultimate in comfort, with luxury bedding, Penhaligon’s toiletries, complimentary whisky and superb bathrooms.
Dundas Castle is perfectly situated just 15 minutes from Edinburgh airport and 25 minutes from the city centre. Nestled within 400 acres of secluded idyllic countryside, the Castle is a spectacular hideaway for a romantic wedding, with an expert weddings team which ensures every couple has the perfect day. Dundas Castle partners with a team of talented catering professionals including chefs who have trained in Michelin star restaurants. They pride themselves on creating unique and innovative menus for weddings and events.
The six bedroom offer is available for new bookings made from now until January 2017 for weddings taking place by the end of March 2017.
