Dundas Castle launches 2019 Boathouse offer
Christmas has come early to luxury venue Dundas Castle, with the launch of its 2019 prices for the unique Boathouse hideaway, perfect for those seeking a last minute Christmas gift for family or friends.
The Boathouse is a secluded self-catering cottage perched on the loch in the heart of the Dundas Estate near South Queensferry, yet only 20 minutes from Edinburgh City Centre. It has an open plan bedroom and living area which extends to the veranda, boasting breathtaking views across the loch; the most perfect retreat for romantic or secluded evenings after days exploring the city.
Two guests can stay in The Boathouse for a price of £130 per night. The Boathouse is fully furnished and equipped to take care of every need; with a small kitchen, shower room, luxury L’Occitane toiletries, TV, WiFi and all home comforts: a true escape for visitors or locals alike.
For those buying a stay as a Christmas gift, the Castle team will send a voucher to the recipient who can book when it is most convenient for them.
Owner, Sir Jack Stewart Clark, said: “The Boathouse is a very special part of the Dundas Castle Estate and is wonderfully romantic. Set on the shore of the loch, it is the perfect early Christmas present for your loved one, or parents, for those needing to escape the rush to enjoy some peace and quiet. It’s a wonderful opportunity to treat yourself to tranquillity right in the heart of nature!”
The Boathouse is situated a 5 minute taxi ride away from Dalmeny Train Station, and is only 15 minutes from Edinburgh International Airport; and 20 minutes into the city by car.
