Scotch Whisky Experience Win Best Place for Women to Work at Hospitality and Tourism Awards
The Award Winning Scotch Whisky Experience was the (very proud) winner of Best Place for Women to Work at the Business Women Scotland Hospitality and Tourism Awards!
The Scotch Whisky Experience team, who were shortlisted alongside the Waldorf Astoria and Fairmont St Andrews, were praised for their positive approach to the long-term career progression of women within the organisation, and for the company’s inclusive and conscientious approach to maternity leave, phased return to work, and work-life balance.
“We’re incredibly proud to have made the shortlists for both of these awards”, says Susan Morrison, Chief Executive. “The Scotch Whisky Experience is about championing inclusiveness in whisky, and we achieve that with a programme of carefully honed training sessions, tastings and events that level the playing field for our whole team. Over our 30 years in business, we’ve created an internal culture where all members of our team feel they have a voice, an opinion and something to offer on this amazing spirit. Winning this award means so much to the organisation, and even more so to Scotland’s incredible whisky industry who we’re proud to represent.”
