Award Nomination caps a stellar year of events for The Scotch Whisky Experience
The Scotch Whisky Experience has been nominated for a Scottish Event Award. The nomination, in the category ‘Best Unique Venue’, comes after a significant renovation that has seen a 56 percent increase in day events over the past year. Increased daytime use of the intimate Blenders’ Room, seating up to 20 people, and the grand Castlehill Room, which hosts up to 100 people, has helped lift the overall events business of the venue by 27%. The team at The Scotch Whisky Experience hopes to be raising a dram to its success in the awards when the winners are announced in October.
With its central location, The Scotch Whisky experience is an ideal spot for business lunches, meetings, conferences, business entertaining or private dinners and parties, including whisky tastings. As news has filtered out about the superb spaces, it is no surprise that the number of delegates choosing to use the rooms has more than doubled. Break-out areas and integrated multimedia facilities, combined with delicious local food and great service, are all part of the overall experience enjoyed by guests and delegates. And it is this attention to detail and service that has facilitated a significant increase in repeat business as well.
In order to accommodate the new business, and to maintain the high standards of service and experience, two new full-time event manager positions have been created.
