Christmas in the Amber Restaurant at the Scottish Whisky Experience

 

Our Amber Restaurant will offer you and your party a delicious dining experience for your Christmas celebration. With flexible service times throughout the day we can offer a sumptuous menu of fine Scottish fayre. Amber’s Christmas menu features some of Scotland’s finest produce cooked to perfection.

Starters:

Amber’s lobster, prawn and crab cocktail

Guineafowl and pear terrine with cider dressing

Salmon in bread crumbs with pea puree, sautéed potatoes with warm tartare sauce

Bacon wrapped turkey breast with sage stuffing served with sprouts, roasted potatoes, chipolatas and cranberry jelly

Christmas pudding with whisky custard

Warm dark chocolate brownie with orange cream

The above menu is available between 12 – 7.30pm (Sun – Thurs) & between 12 – 9pm (Friday & Saturday).

 

Private dining is also available in Amber Restaurant or in our private Castlehill Room. The Castlehill Room provides a unique and versatile setting, catering for parties of 30 – 80. Gifts for your guests can be placed under our real Christmas tree, which together with our marble fireplace and glittering chandeliers creates an enchanting ambience.

 

Whisky tour & tastings.

The Scotch Whisky Experience has a 5 star Whisky tour which we can offer prior to your dining experience. Choose between the hour long guided tour enjoying a tasting within The World’s Largest Collection of Scotch Whisky and / or add on a private Whisky tasting with one of our Whisky experts who will tutor guests through 4 selected Scotch Whiskies – one from each of the 4 main Whisky producing regions. This experience is priced from £23.00 per person and can act as a fun teambuilding activity.
