Love is in the air at The Royal Yacht Britannia
Whether to impress a loved one with a lavish proposal, or simply spoil someone special, The Royal Yacht Britannia, in Edinburgh, has to be the Ultimate Valentine’s experience.
The Queen’s former floating palace sailed a million miles around the world, entertaining kings and queens, presidents and celebrities such as Frank Sinatra and Elizabeth Taylor.
Now available exclusively to one couple, an evening aboard the five-star Royal Yacht Britannia begins with a chauffeur-driven arrival at Britannia’s private quayside entrance. The couple will then be welcomed with a red carpet entrance and piped aboard The Yacht via the Royal Brow, the entrance previously reserved for The Queen.
Britannia’s Executive Chef Mark Alston will create an exquisite five course tasting menu, all made on board in the original Royal galleys, to be savoured while listening to a classical string duo, playing a selection of romantic music. Vintage Champagnes and fine wines will be selected personally by Britannia’s Head Sommelier from the Moët & Hennessy collection, and the evening will come to a close with a spectacular private fireworks display across the water, lighting up the sky.
Britannia’s Ultimate Valentine’s experience, can be personalised to suit individual preferences, all making this an evening to remember forever.
